Our client is a fast-growing digital publishing company with its headquarters in Amsterdam & London & New York. We are seeking a Social Media and Website Manager (Mandarin speaker) who will lead the organisation into future growth. The selected individual will manage a large number of channels in different languages and also be responsible for a team of translators, writers, content creators and narrators. The ideal candidate will be detail and deadline oriented, in addition to being proactive and excited to take on new challenges. Lastly, We also welcome a candidate who can speak Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese or German.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage and grow media channels internationally.
Manage a range of channels and content in different languages.
Managing various of projects from different clients.
Ensuring quality standards of content with consistency in style and tone.
Managing a team network of writers, creators, translators and others.
Perform different analytical tests in order to examine/optimise content.
Generate creative and unique ideas and transform into videos/content to share with the world.
Assist with other duties when necessary.

Ideal Candidate

Excellent written and communication skills in English and one of the following languages: Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese or German. (more languages will be beneficial)
Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Have high attention to detail and always strive to present the best results.
Proactive, multitasking and creative individual who can think outside of the box.
Bachelor’s degree
Efficient communication skills and cultural diversity experience.
Experience in social media and creative software (e.g. PS).
Experience of working with WordPress. (not required but beneficial)
